Welcome to Chik Box Regent Street, conveniently located at 12-20 Regent Street, Somerset, EMEA BS23 1SQ. This recently refurbished venue has positioned itself as a notable spot for locals and visitors alike, offering a unique culinary experience that blends comfort and quality.

Upon entering, one might experience a mixed atmosphere that some patrons have described as musty, but don't let that deter you—there's potential here for delightful meals. From hearty breakfasts to succulent steaks, there’s something for everyone. Recently, a customer praised the medium-rare steak as "excellent," a significant highlight that demonstrates the culinary team’s commitment to quality cooking. Conversely, the veggie breakfast was also well-received, indicating a diverse menu designed to cater to various tastes.

However, it’s essential to note that the service has received its share of criticism. Some guests have expressed their frustration with slow service and inaccuracies, especially regarding drink orders placed through the app. It would be wise to clarify such details before placing your order to avoid disappointment.

While the ambience and service have room for improvement, the food at Chik Box can still shine. The pie and mash dish showed potential but left some diners feeling unsatisfied due to presentation issues. The challenge lies in ensuring every plate matches the reputation they aspire to achieve.

As Chik Box Regent Street embarks on this new chapter under potentially new management, it has the opportunity to refine its service while reinforcing its culinary prowess. If you’re in the area and craving a satisfying meal, visit Chik Box Regent Street—but perhaps keep your expectations moderated until they've smoothed out the kinks in both their service and atmosphere. Remember, every establishment has a learning curve, and this one may just be on the road to greatness.

In summary, Chik Box Regent Street could become a staple in Somerset dining with the right adjustments. We look forward to what they will achieve and hope for a consistently enjoyable experience on future visits.

Called here to watch the rugby and have a pint or two the st pint was good then nd like ditch water so I asked for a replacement which went against the grain but had a tidy replacement my wife had a pot of tea with no lid on the pot & brown sugar only sweetener was the other option we ordered pie and mash but opened the pie to find it empty except for a gravy stain on the base, didn't bother to complain as we thought it would fall on deaf ears. So I won't bother coming back. Had a great Sunday roast in the tavern in the town for £ brilliant

Visited on Saturday th June around lunch time. Very happy with the service and one of my sons had an excellent medium rare steak . The last few he's had in other places haven't been cooked very well. I had a veggie breakfast - very nice.I found out afterwards that it had just reopened after a major refurbishment - and possibly new management?Staff were very friendly - and coping well with a new till system (I think there were some teething issues).Recommended!

As soon as we walked in the place smelt musty! We thought of going somewhere else but found a place away from the worst of it! We decided to order on the app...that was our nd bad choice!! We had all of our breakfast & still no drinks so my husband went to the bar only to be told that drinks don't register on the app! Wtf?! Nowhere did it say that!!!
